I mentioned in my last news item that representational paintings had remained popular so far in my art sale, to the point that I’ve been encouraged to put more on this site.
Much of my work has not been photographed and has therefore not made it onto the site. Here, however, is another from the series of Manchester allotment pieces, mentioned earlier, but only recently added to these pages.
This one is a chalk pastel drawing which features a half-fallen-down shed. It looks like the shed is caught in the process of collapsing but, in fact, it had dropped to this crazed angle and then stopped, making a kind of eccentric intervention into the scene.
