In response to requests from various people, I have created a page on this site for sketches. See Link text here...

Until now I have never made these works visible, as they were created without the thought that they would ever be made public. They are very different in style and content from my larger works and come from different intentions. They are essentially private meditations on things seen and how various media might be used in response; consequently the same image might be rendered several times over in subtly or very different ways. They have been executed over a period of several decades and some are deeply personal.

I have many more, but I will make this first batch of 50 or so visible and available before I decide whether it is worth putting up any more.
